I think the Nexus 5 has to be one of the most leaked devices of all time. It has yet to be launched and yet there are tons of Nexus 5 Leaks online, even a manual of the device has been leaked. It seems as if LG is the maker once again of the Nexus device for Android, and why not since they had great success with the LG Nexus 4 that came out last year. Many people griped about the lack of LTE support, but with a low bargain price off contract the phone quickly sold out.
1. What we do know so far about the Nexus 5 is that it looks to have LTE support this time around according to FCC filings and that should make a lot of folks smile
2. The Nexus 5 is going to be a 4.95-inch 1080p display, with 2GB RAM and a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, NFC support and wireless charging. which even sweetens the deal.
3. The device should come with a 2,300 mAh battery. I would of like to see at least 2,500 to 3,000 mAh considering the Nexus 4 could barely make it through a day.
4. Even Though not confirmed the device should run on Android 4.4 KitKat as rumors suggest.
If all the specs and more are indeed true then Google might see themselves out of stock shortly after the phone is available for sale. There are many people even now doing test runs at Google Play store checkout just waiting to be among the first to get their hands on the device. I sure hope to be among the first so that we can do an unboxing and full review of the device. We are yet still waiting for Google to announce the device officially and no doubt the competition will be paying close attention as well. The timing of launching the Nexus 5 may be prime as Google looks to steal some of the thunder from the recently launched iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c not to mention the GS4 plus Note 3
