If you’re unfamiliar with NOVITEC, you might want to read this article first. In short, they’re a German tuning company which makes fast cars faster and luxurious ones… more luxurious. Think of them as BRABUS but with even more emphasis on performance and diversity. Although they’ve been tuning Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Maseratis for years, they’ve recently gotten their hands onto McLarens and Teslas as well. Their latest edition to the stable is a 570GT, specifically tuned to make it sharper and more agile, as well as powerful.

Let’s start with the engine, since it’s usually what everyone wants to know about anyway. Now the “standard” 3.8-liter V8 in the 570GT isn’t exactly weak. With 570 horsepower, as its name suggests, it’s actually extremely powerful. NOVITEC would disagree, however. With some clever tuning of the ECU and a full NOVITEC RACE exhaust system, they’ve been able to amp the little V8 up to a scarcely believable 646 horsepower and 692 Nm of torque. The performance gains, as one can imagine, increase accordingly.

The sprint to 62 mph takes just 3 seconds flat, while the top speed increases to 208 mph. It’s not about the sheer power alone though, but the way in which the car delivers it. NOVITEC claims the remap makes the McLaren more drivable and manageable, not just faster. It’s a win-win scenario. You get something that’s insanely fast, yet no harder to drive than your everyday Mondeo or Focus. The practicality and everyday usability of the GT lineup hasn’t been tampered with, and that’s something NOVITEC was eager to point out.

Visually, the NOVITEC 570GT stands out thanks to a number of features. We already mentioned the high-performance exhaust system and how much nicer it makes the 3.8-liter V8 sound, but it also adds a bit of visual character to the car. NOVITEC went as far as developing a complete aero package for the 570GT, including tailor-made naked carbon components for extra rigidity and lightness. The front spoiler looks cool but is completely functional, and there’s no missing the large rocker panels NOVITEC has kindly installed. To top it all off, NOVITEC has installed their own MC1 wheels which reduce unsprung weight and suit the 570GT really well.

The interior is not that different compared to a standard 570GT, but why would you change something that’s near as makes no difference perfect? If you really want, NOVITEC will completely change the cabin to your desired specifications, using first-class Alcantara in any color imaginable.

How do you wrap up an article like this? Do I tell you all to go and buy one? We all know that the NOVITEC 570GT is not something that’s easily attainable, but my god is it worth every penny they want for it. Speaking of pennies, no word on cost just yet, but i have a feeling it really won’t matter. You can’t put a price on perfection, and that’s exactly what the 570GT by NOVITEC is.

I love everything that has to do with cars. I could practically name every manufacturer and model before i could even say mom or dad. Recently i've taken up motorsport, with plans to travel to England and compete should the perfect opportunity arise. In my spare time i like to do some biking, and occasionally play the guitar.
