The phone, a lot of us, are waiting for is just around the corner. Made by Google and made for Google, the Pixel 3 is probably one of the most anticipated phones of 2018. This device is expected to be announced in October, just after the launch of the new iPhones. With just a few months left for the launch, there’s a lot we already know about the phone. So, let’s find out what the rumor mill has in for us.

New Design

pixel-3-notch-rumorsLet’s be honest here. Google doesn’t have a good history of making beautiful looking phones. The Nexus line looked mediocre at best, and while the Pixel phones don’t look bad, they come nowhere as close as the competition from Samsung and Apple.

With the Google Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL, the company is looking to change all that. They will come with bezel-free design and will endorse the notch, just like all the other flagship phones of 2018.

They will also come with a squeeze feature like its predecessor which will let you activate  Google Assistant in a fly!

However, with the Pixel 3, you can assign different apps according to the intensity of the squeeze. Neat!

Much-Improved Display

We can expect the company to take a different route this year. Google is planning to get  AMOLED Displays from Samsung this time around, and if that’s the case, we can expect the panel to be top-notch.

More Hardware Featuresgoogle-pixel-3-rumour-techmala-final

Apart from the design and the display, the Pixel 3 will come with flagship grade hardware including the mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB of RAM.

The Google Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL had a great camera when they launched and even today performs on par with the Galaxy S9 and the iPhone X. While we don’t expect dramatic improvements on the camera department, we do expect better video recording features and better low-light image processing. Also, don’t expect dual-camera setup on the Pixel 3.

While unconfirmed, there are also changes that Google will include wireless charging on their 2018 flagship. We also hope the company will upgrade their IP67 Water and Dust Certification to IP68 like on other high-end phones.

Android P And Google Duplex

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room: Google Duplex. The company put Apple and its Siri to shame in the Google IO 2018 by announcing the all new service called Duplex.

Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will come with Android P out of the box and will be bundled with improved Google Assistant alongside the all-new Duplex feature Users can book a seat in a restaurant or book a haircut without any of your input!

Android P will bring a host of new features including a gesture-based UI, AI features and a completely revamped health app. You can read about all the new features on the Android P here.
