The Motorola Moto 360 Sport was the second-generation version of the company’s round-faced smartwatch line, and since it’s been out for quite a while, you shouldn’t be surprised to know that it’s now selling for $70 off on the Amazon website, with free shipping included.
The Moto 360 Sport still sells for its full retail price of $299.99 on the Motorola website, but if you head over to Amazon, you can get it for just $230, or close to 25 percent off the original price. There is, however, a bit of a catch to this deal – the Moto 360 Sport is normally offered in multiple color choices, including black, white, and flame orange, but it’s only the black flavor that’s selling at the special price. You might want to wait it out if you’re hoping to get the smartwatch in another color, but if color isn’t an issue, you might as well check out the deal – there’s no telling how long it’s going to be available.
Regarding the Moto 360 Sport’s dimensions, the smartwatch has a 45mm diameter and measures 11.5mm high. It is also dust and water resistant with IP67 certification – take note, that’s “resistant,” not “dust- and waterproof.” Other basics include a 1.37-inch circular screen with 360 x 225 resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 reinforcement, a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 512GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, and Google’s Android Wear OS for smartwatches.
As for features, some of the more basic ones include the ability to check email notifications, use voice commands to control the smartwatch, and AnyLight Display technology. This latter feature allows you to enjoy a clearer view of the Moto 360 Sport’s face even in brighter conditions, while saving on battery life with the brightness reduced when you’re using the smartwatch indoors.
